Privacy Policy

Calari Legal (operated by Calari LLC) provides self-help legal document preparation software for Texans representing themselves. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and how you can delete your data.

How we use your information

How your data is stored, protected, and deleted

Your profile and Evidence Vault records are stored in an isolated database accessible only over a private internal network, and uploaded files are stored on a dedicated persistent volume. All browser traffic is encrypted over HTTPS (TLS), and session cookies are marked HttpOnly and Secure. In Court Kiosk Mode (?mode=kiosk), all patron session data is ephemeral and automatically purged after packet export or 2 minutes of inactivity.

You can delete individual exhibits directly inside your Litigant Portal at any time. To request complete deletion of your account profile, case intake data, and uploaded files under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (Tex. Bus. & Com. Code Ch. 541) or at any time for any reason, email support@calarilegal.com from the email address associated with your workspace.

No attorney-client privilege

Calari Legal is self-help software, not a law firm, and does not provide legal representation or legal advice (Tex. Gov't Code § 81.101(c)). Using Calari Legal does not create an attorney-client relationship, and information entered into the software is protected by this Privacy Policy rather than attorney-client privilege.
